TAF and the EFFEA Residency #2
European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists – EFFEA is an initiative of the European Festivals Association (EFA) that offers emerging artists a platform to develop their careers on an international level through festivals.
We are extremely happy that we were the leading festival that applied and secured together with Anibar International Animation Festival (Kosovo) and Balkan Film and Food Festival (Albania) the Round #2 Discovery Residency of European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists – EFFEA, to support Anna Oikonomou with the completion of her short animated film “Cut the Tie”.
Miss Oikonomou won the 3rd place in the 4th edition of our very own Balkan Animation Forum in October 2023! In June 2024 the TAF team accompanied her to her presentation in Albania where the world premiere of her film was screened and she gave a short talk on her experience as a resident. Last stop was the Anibar festival in Kosovo where she conducted a workshop on Rotoscoping Choreography and was a total success!
