After falling deadly sick in his new house, Francisco de Goya is visited by the ghosts of his past. Haunted by their visits and with his health quickly deteriorating, Goya paints the black paintings as a last resource to expel the ghosts his life, losing almost everything in the process, including his sanity and, almost, his life.
