Ana Grgic

Ana Grgic, film school graduate and a distinguished professional in the field. She now works on CBS's productions in London on Visual Effects. She holds a PhD from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and has done postgraduate studies at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle in France. He is president of the Balkan Culture Center while her work has appeared in Frames Cinema Journal, The Film Festival Yearbook 5: Archival Fillm Festivals and more.

The masterclass presented by Ana Grgic “Movement in Matter" will deal with visual effects in the digital age of cinema and other visual strategies of creators to attract the audience’s interest.

The unique language of cinema will impress the audience. Experimental and new ideas from the film industry unfold through a person from the inside, sharing her knowledge and experience.

Angelos Rouvas

In his many years of engaging with the art of animation he has participated as animator in the feature film An American Tail, Fievel Goes West produced by Steven Spielberg and Universal Pictures. He organized the first animation section on state television (ET1) and the first major 26 half-hour episodes of Pandora & Plato the Strawberry Birds where he also designed the main characters.

Continuing his presence in major projects he co-directed the half-hour TV special The mouse who wanted to touch a little star, which won 5 Greek and international awards of Best Animation. On the 70th anniversary of Greek Animation presented to the public the web portal Greek animation.com a complete database for the domestic 8th Art.

He recently started implementing his own animation production, starting with Project Mentor.

The director Angelos Rouvas analyzes how to build a proposal for producing a high-quality animation movie, so that you can go with claim of co-productions. From the conception of the concept, the formulation of the concept and the development of the script to the design of the characters, business plan and pitching. Presentation of the project Mentor which won funding from the European Media Development program earning a very high rating score.
